Prior Knowledge:
  • Use function machines and equations to map a set of numbers to another set of numbers and generate coordinate pairs. Draw mapping diagrams.
  • Understand and use the notation of functions
  • Understand the terms domain and range
  • Use a GDC to:
·           Sketch the graph of a function
·           Produce a table of values
·           Find zeros (roots) of functions
·           Find maxima or minima of functions
·           Find intersections of graphs of functions
